except in cases of negligence.

● Matting:
At Tidy Toe Beans, we prioritize the health and well-being of your pet over vanity.
If your pet’s coat is severely matted, the groomer has the right to decide that it
is in the Pet’s best interest to shave the coat in order to relieve discomfort or
prevent injury. Matting can cause pain, skin irritation, and even health risks,
and shaving is often the safest option for your pet.

The groomer will make every effort to explain this decision to you, but the final choice regarding grooming will
be made with the Pet's welfare in mind.
The Client acknowledges that matting fees may apply in cases where the coat
is excessively matted or tangled, as extra time, care, and specialized tools are
required to manage the condition.

The Client acknowledges and agrees that pets with signs of external parasites (such as
fleas, ticks, or ringworm) will not be groomed unless proper treatment is arranged, and the pet
may be sent home immediately if necessary. The health and safety of all pets in the salon is a
top priority, and the Salon reserves the right to refuse grooming services if a pet is found to have
an active parasite infestation.

Ringworm:
If a pet is suspected to have ringworm or shows visible symptoms (e.g., circular patches of hair
loss, lesions), the grooming session will be stopped immediately, and the pet will be sent home.
Ringworm is a contagious fungal infection, and the Salon cannot groom pets with suspected or
confirmed ringworm until the pet has been treated by a veterinarian and cleared for grooming.

Fleas:
If a pet is found to have fleas during grooming, the Client will have the option to immediately
treat the pet with flea removal (e.g., flea bath, Frontline, Flea collar) at the time of grooming.
Alternatively, if the Client chooses not to treat the fleas immediately, an additional $25 flea
shampoo fee will be added to the grooming service. If fleas are detected, the pet’s grooming
session may be delayed or rescheduled, and the pet will not be allowed to remain in the salon
until the flea issue is addressed.

Ticks:
If ticks are found on the pet during grooming, each tick over the first two ticks will incur a charge
of $1 per tick for removal. If ticks are discovered, the pet will be treated accordingly, but any
additional charges for tick removal will apply. Pets with a significant tick infestation may be
asked to reschedule the grooming appointment until the issue is fully addressed.

Client’s Responsibility:

It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that their pet is free from parasites at the time of
grooming. We recommend regular flea, tick, and parasite prevention treatments to avoid
infestations. The Client agrees to pay any additional charges incurred due to parasite
